Rosenberg Martin Greenberg, LLP is pleased to announce that Caroline L. Hecker has been elected as the firm’s next Managing Partner. Caroline will assume the role effective January 3, 2022, becoming the third Managing Partner in the firm’s 34-year history and the first woman and non-founding member to hold the position.

Caroline joined RMG’s Land Use and Zoning and real estate practice group in 2007 and became a partner in the firm in 2013. She currently leads the Land Use and Zoning team and is a member of the firm’s Management Committee and Sponsorship and Charitable Giving Committee. Caroline has also led the Associate Marketing Committee, which mentors young associates and instills business development awareness in the firm’s attorneys.
Caroline has firmly established herself as an elite attorney in the areas of land use and zoning and other entitlements for projects in Baltimore City and Baltimore County. Her legal work has been recognized by client- and peer-recommended industry rankings, including the U.S. New & World Report Best Lawyers® in America – Real Estate (2017-2021), Maryland Super Lawyers Rising Star – Land Use and Zoning (2021-2020) and Chambers USA – Land Use and Zoning (2019-2020.)
Caroline is a graduate of Tulane University (B.A., cum laude, 2002) and the University of Maryland School of Law (J.D., with honors, 2005). After graduating from law school, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable W. Michel Pierson on the Baltimore City Circuit Court. She is a member of the bars of the State of Maryland, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
