The stroke of midnight on New Year’s Day traditionally represents new beginnings. This year, for everyone at Rosenberg Martin Greenberg, it specifically commemorates the transition of management of the firm from one of the founders to the next generation of leadership. As I hand over the reins to our new Managing Partner, Caroline Hecker, I am filled with pride and excitement as to what the future of the firm holds under her capable and strategic leadership.
Ben Rosenberg came to me over thirty-four years ago with the idea to start a firm that would offer high-quality legal services for sophisticated clients and matters in a more personalized setting. I immediately knew that I wanted to be a part of his vision, and never looked back. I’ve had the privilege to represent RMG in anticipating our client’s needs by expanding our legal service offerings as our clients have grown and faced challenges, good and bad, within their lives and businesses. I have been privileged to foster strong and valued relationships with our clients, and have seen the firm grow and flourish. I have also been privileged to work with and observe a truly skilled and unique collection of attorneys develop into an exceptional team of advocates for our clients.
As we started considering the role of a Managing Partner to succeed me, I had little doubt that a consensus would form around Caroline for the position. Caroline will be a motivated and skilled leader of this firm, respected by her colleagues and throughout the community. Her natural talent and work ethic will continue to drive consistently superior services for our clients, and significant impact upon our community. The future is a bright one.
With that said, it is with great pleasure that I welcome Caroline as Managing Partner of RMG. I look forward to continuing to work alongside Caroline, as I will continue to sit on the Management Committee and will continue to lead the real estate practice group. I hope you join me in welcoming Caroline to her new role, and in embarking upon the next chapter at RMG.
