Bio
Christopher Rizakos is an associate in Rosenberg Martin Greenberg’s Business Planning & Transactions, Real Estate, and Commercial Lending Groups. Chris focuses his practice on complex corporate and commercial real estate transactions and advises clients through various deal structures, including mergers, acquisitions, developments, leasing, and financing. Chris also handles commercial landlord-tenant litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Chris focused his practice on general plaintiff litigation where he served as trial counsel for state circuit and district court matters. He was also the judicial law clerk to The Honorable Mickey J. Norman and judicial intern to The Honorable John J. Nagle III, both in the Baltimore County Circuit Court.
Chris received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law where he served on the Executive Board of Law Forum as an Articles Editor and became a Certified Mediator under Maryland Rule 17-106. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Management with a minor in Economics from Washington College.

Experience
- Represent national and regional owners and developers in all aspects of acquisition and development of improved and unimproved real estate, construction, financing and refinancing, and leasing.
- Represent small business owners with respect to general corporate and real estate needs, including corporate governance, leasing, and financing matters.
- Assist with the creation of corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies.
- Negotiate and draft industrial, office, and retail leases and amendments on behalf of landlords and tenants.
- Serve as outside counsel to property management companies and landlords throughout Maryland.
