Human Resources Manager

Rosenberg Martin Greenberg is seeking a Human Resources Manager to manage and oversee a broad range of HR functions within our firm. This role is a key part of our operations, ensuring that our attorneys and staff have the support, policies, and programs necessary to thrive in a dynamic legal environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in HR operations, with a strong ability to manage employee relations, recruitment, benefits administration, compliance, and firm culture initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the firm’s goals and legal compliance requirements.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
- Administration of employee benefit programs including health insurance, 401(k), and leave policies.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees on HR-related matters, including employee relations, conflict resolution, and professional development.
- Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to foster an inclusive workplace.
- Manage payroll processes in coordination with accounting and finance teams.
- Oversee employee engagement programs and initiatives that support firm culture and retention.
- Maintain and update HR records, including performance evaluations and personnel files.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR management, preferably in a professional services or law firm environment.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion.
- Experience managing HRIS and payroll systems.
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is required.
