Bio

Elizabeth Stalfort is an associate in the Creditors’ Rights practice group. She holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Richmond School of Law, where she graduated cum laude and received the CALI Award in Legal Research for outstanding academic achievement. With a Master of Social Work from Tulane University and a Master of Arts in Management from Wake Forest University, Elizabeth brings a unique interdisciplinary perspective to her legal practice.

Her legal experience spans various roles, including externships with the Richmond City Attorney’s Office and internships with the Office of the DC Attorney General and a complex litigation firm in Richmond. Elizabeth has assisted in complex legal matters, from child abuse and neglect cases to drafting critical documents in commercial real estate and finance.

In addition to her legal career, Elizabeth has an extensive background in social work, providing trauma-informed counseling and mental health services to diverse populations. This combination of legal and social work experience enables her to approach clients’ needs with both technical expertise and empathy.

In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys traveling to new countries (she is currently at 50), watching sports, and volunteering.
