Bio

Emma Tedder is an associate in the firm’s Business Planning & Transactions Department, where she supports businesses at every stage of growth with a wide range of corporate and transactional matters. Her work includes assisting with entity formation and governance, drafting and reviewing contracts and commercial agreements, and conducting legal research related to regulatory compliance and risk management. Emma works with business owners and management teams to structure transactions efficiently, address legal issues proactively, and support day-to-day operational needs with practical, business-minded solutions.

In addition to her corporate work, Emma has experience supporting the firm’s Land Use and Zoning practice, where she conducts legal research on zoning and land use issues, drafts hearing outlines and zoning applications, and assists with zoning due diligence for property acquisitions and development projects. Emma has also supported the firm’s tax practice by assisting with nonprofit formations, including preparing and filing related tax forms. Prior to joining the firm, Emma gained experience in both public and private legal settings. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law and served on the University of Baltimore Law Forum. Emma is actively involved in the Baltimore legal community and brings a detail-oriented, collaborative approach to helping businesses navigate complex legal and operational challenges.
