Bio

Jamie Hoare is an associate in the firm’s Land Use and Zoning group. Her practice focuses on land use, environmental, and administrative matters, including advising clients on zoning and land use regulations, permitting and entitlement processes, and related regulatory requirements. She assists clients in navigating approvals before local government and regulatory agencies and supports matters involving development, environmental compliance, and other land use considerations.

Prior to joining the firm, Jamie served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Joseph M. Getty and the Honorable Lynne A. Battaglia of the Supreme Court of Maryland, where she drafted opinions, prepared bench memoranda, and conducted legal research. She also gained experience as a judicial intern to the Honorable Douglas R. M. Nazarian of the Appellate Court of Maryland.

Jamie’s background includes work on environmental and regulatory matters through positions with the Southern Environmental Law Center, the Chesapeake Legal Alliance, and the Maryland Department of Natural Resources.
