Bio
Margaret “Maggie” Giordano is an associate in the firm’s litigation department, representing clients in civil litigation, employment disputes, and appellate matters. Her practice spans all phases of litigation—from pretrial motions and discovery through trial and appeal—and includes briefing and argument in Maryland state and federal courts. She also has experience handling select criminal matters.
Maggie is particularly valued for her legal research and writing skills and her ability to develop clear, persuasive arguments on challenging legal issues. She works closely with senior attorneys to advance client objectives in a variety of high stakes, contested matters. She is also fluent in Spanish.
Maggie brings a practical, detail-oriented approach to the practice of law informed by more than 15 years of hands-on legal experience. She joined RMG in 2016 as a paralegal in the firm’s land use department and later transitioned to a law clerk role in 2023, supporting attorneys across all practice areas. Prior to joining RMG, Maggie served as Compliance Director for the Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers Local #1 of Maryland, D.C., and Virginia.
Outside the office, Maggie is a competitive Brazilian jiu-jitsu athlete and was recognized as Team Balance Baltimore’s Female Competition MVP for the 2022–2023 season. Her training emphasizes patience, preparation, and calm decision-making under pressure—qualities that directly inform her approach to litigation.
