Rosenberg Martin Greenberg Expands White-Collar and Internal Investigations Practice with Attorneys from Levin and Curlett LLC

Rosenberg Martin Greenberg LLP (RMG) is pleased to announce the expansion of its white-collar and internal investigations practice with the addition of the firm of Levin & Curlett LLC. Steve Levin, Chad Curlett, Sarah Lacey, and Lauren McLarney joined RMG effective January 2019.

Barry Greenberg, RMG’s Managing Partner and head of the firm’s real estate practice group, said, “It makes great sense from a professional point of view and a cultural point of view. It’s the extension and expansion of a practice area the firm is well known for. We are thrilled to welcome each of them.”

The firm of Levin & Curlett was well-known for their white-collar representation, with an established and well-earned reputation for its white-collar and internal investigation practice and which built on Steve’s prior experience as Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of Maryland, and Chad’s previous experience as a prosecutor for the Manhattan District Attorney’s office. This additional breadth in RMG’s white-collar and internal investigations practice will help bring additional depth to its clients, and builds on the practice that name partner Jerry Martin established at the firm since he joined in 2004, and continues to lead.

“It’s been through Jerry Martin’s efforts that RMG has for a long time been a leader in the criminal defense bar, and we look forward to not just joining the practice but building on that tradition,” Levin said.

The addition of the attorneys from Levin & Curlett expands the geographic reach of RMG’s footprint to include an office in New York City and in Washington, D.C., in addition the existing offices in Baltimore, Annapolis, and Wilmington, DE.

Over the past thirty-two years, the firm has faithfully adhered to its mission, expanding in response to its clients’ needs and for opportunities that enhance the array of services that it offers. The firm undertook a significant expansion in 2003 with the addition of Gerard P. Martin and three of his colleagues from Martin, Snyder & Bernstein, P.A., which resulted in a new name, Rosenberg Martin Greenberg, LLP. In 2009, a new group of attorneys joined the firm, bringing with them an extensive bankruptcy and creditors’ rights practice. At the same time, the firm expanded by adding a Delaware office. Consistent with RMG’s long-term planning, nine (9) new attorneys joined the firm in 2018, which brings the headcount to forty (40) lawyers.
