Rosenberg Martin Greenberg is pleased to announce the addition of our “COVID class” of seven new attorneys to the firm during the past 12 months. We would like to welcome Christina “Chrissy” Bolmarcich, Brett F. Baldino, Jeffrey S. Greenberg, Gabrielle D. Shirley, Jessica L. Duvall, Robert M. Berman and M. Ari Storch.
Barry Greenberg, RMG’s Managing Partner and head of the Firm’s real estate practice group, said: “We are thrilled to welcome all of the new attorneys to the Firm, who supplement our core practice areas. Chrissy joined RMG in March 2021, bringing her extensive labor and employment experience. Chrissy advises and defends employers in all aspects of employment disputes involving FLSA wage and compensation, Title VII discrimination, ADEA, ADA, FMLA, wrongful discharge, and unemployment. She drafts employment handbooks and employment contracts including non-competition, non-solicitation, confidentiality, and severance agreements. Chrissy also provided employers with general employment advice related to discipline and terminations, paid time off policies, sick leave policies, reasonable accommodations, and workplace health and safety. Chrissy is very active in the Baltimore community serving as an Associate Trustee to the Board of Trustees for Notre Dame of Maryland University, and serves on the Board of Directors for Sail Baltimore.
Brett joined RMG’s Tax and Wealth Planning practice group in March 2021. His practice focuses on estate planning, estate and trust administration, business succession planning, fiduciary litigation, and tax controversy matters. Brett assists clients with drafting wills and a variety of trusts, from simple revocable trusts and irrevocable life insurance trusts to more complex planning through intentionally defective grantors trusts, grantor retained annuity trusts, and charitable trusts. He prepares estate and gift tax returns and has experience handling corporate, estate, and personal income related matters on both the federal and state levels. Brett has successfully litigated numerous estate administration cases before the Orphans’ Court and Circuit Court of Maryland.
Jeff joined the firm as a partner in the firm’s Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights, and Commercial Lending practice groups. His primary focus is in representing institutional lenders from initial documentation to the amendment, restructure, workout and enforcement of commercial credit facilities. Jeff also regularly represents landlords, equipment lessors, and trade creditors regarding lease assumption and rejection issues and advises purchasers acquiring assets out of bankruptcy. Active in the community, Jeff sits on the Board of the Pro Bono Resource Center of Maryland, the pro bono arm of the Maryland State Bar Association.
Gabby rejoined the firm as Senior Counsel in our Business and Transaction practice. She enhances the firm’s general corporate offerings with extensive experience in complex transactions and securities law. Gabby advises corporate clients in connection with corporate structuring and governance issues, strategic business planning and growth initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, and private offering transactions. She has represented private equity investors, private investment funds, operating companies, and has counseled established and emerging businesses alike. Gabby was recently appointed to serve as a FINRA Arbitrator.
Jessica L. Duvall
Jessica joined the Creditors’ Right Group, which focuses on protecting the interests of lenders, landlords, and trade creditors in loan restructures, bankruptcy proceedings, foreclosures, and commercial litigation. Jessica counsels lenders on strategies to minimize and avoid potential risks that threaten secured positions. In addition to her creditor’s rights experience, she also assists with general business, employment, and appellate matters. Jessica is a graduate of the Business Volunteers of Maryland 2020 GIVE Fellowship program.
Rob is the newest member of the Business Planning and Transactions group, as well as the Real Estate and Commercial Lending groups. His work involves business and commercial real estate transactions and includes advising clients on and documenting various deal structures. Rob represents business entities of all types, lending institutions, private equity funds, as well as real estate developers, investors, and operators. Rob is on the Maryland Food Bank’s Executive Committee Membership for the Lawyer’s Campaign Against Hunger campaign.
Ari is a member of the Real Estate and Transactional Finance Practice Group. He focuses on the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate, and on real estate financing and leasing. Prior to attending law school, he worked in real estate development and management for nearly 10 years. Ari also represents a wide range of tax-exempt organizations, advising on formation and qualification, corporate governance, and related matters. He regularly provides pro bono services to local nonprofit organizations.
