Rosenberg Martin Greenberg, LLP is pleased to announce that Jamar Brown has been appointed to the Supreme Court of Maryland’s Standing Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure. His five-year term will commence on July 1, 2024.
The Standing Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure (also known as the “Rules Committee”) is responsible for recommending amendments and additions to the procedural rules governing the state’s courts. The committee plays a critical role in ensuring the fairness, efficiency, and clarity of Maryland’s legal processes.
Jamar Brown brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this prestigious appointment. Jamar is a partner in Rosenberg Martin Greenberg’s litigation department, where his practice focuses on appellate and commercial litigation. He is also deeply involved in the community, serving on the Board of the Enoch Pratt Free Library, University of Maryland Carey School of Law, and the Job Opportunities Task Force.
