On July 21, Jamar Brown and Lauren McLarney successfully secured a complete dismissal of all claims against RMG client, Mercury Plastics MD, Inc., in a high-profile environmental lawsuit filed by the City of Baltimore. The City alleged that several plastic manufacturers contributed to local pollution and public nuisance, but our attorneys argued that Mercury Plastics had no connection to the single-use plastics at issue.
Baltimore City Circuit Judge Audrey Carrion agreed, ruling that the City failed to present facts linking Mercury Plastics to the alleged harms. All claims, including consumer protection and negligence, were dismissed with prejudice. This outcome reflects our firm’s commitment to strategic, results-driven advocacy in complex litigation.
